Education and Outreach Volunteers 2024 – Wild Cats Series

WILD CARE invites you to apply for the Education and Outreach Volunteers 2024 – Wild Cats Series! The program is a scale-up of last year’s initiative from Terai Fishing Cat Project, Nepal and this year, we’re expanding the scope to provide a more in-depth and enriching experience for the participants. We’re specifically looking to empower 12 enthusiastic individuals from Terai region of Nepal and build up their capacity in research and conservation of wild cats.   

Requirements

  • Self-reliant in planning and execution of program in participant’s local area
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill
  • Knowledge of local areas
  • Passion for wildlife conservation

Qualifications

Student at any stage of their undergraduate or graduate degree from natural science background may apply.

[Important Note: Participants need to conduct outreach programs in their areas and submit a program report immediately after the training. A two-week dedication for the entire process is highly desirable. Applicants with exams during this period are strongly discouraged for applying.]
