Wildlife Conservation and Research Endeavour (WILD CARE) Nepal invites proposals from non-profit, green, or youth groups interested in implementing outreach programs for wetland species/habitats to apply for Wetland Species Conservation Outreach Grant 2025. This grant supports impactful, creative, and localized initiatives to raise awareness about the conservation of wetland species within their natural habitats.
Number of Grants:Three grants (up to NPR 10,000 each)
- Two grants for any wetland species.
- One grant specifically for the Fishing Cat.
Guidelines
- The proposal is open to both registered and non-registered green organizations, youth groups, and/or college groups. Applicants may also form a group of two or more to apply as a team. Each applicant is allowed to submit only one proposal for the grant.
- Each section contains guidance in light shading to assist you in completing the form. Please delete the pre-filled information before submitting your final proposal.
- The proposed activity must focus on the conservation of any wetland species within its natural range.
- The outreach program must be conducted in February 2025, with the specific date determined on the applicant’s convenience.
- Be creative with your ideas. The program duration may range from 1 to 2 days depending on your planned activities and budget.
- General exclusion in budget items include stipends and costs unrelated to the project activities.
