Bishal Bhandari

Bishal Bhandari is a wildlife researcher with a focus on threatened species, habitat conservation, and community-based conservation. His work combines field research with practical conservation action and community engagement.

He holds a B.Sc. in Forestry from Agriculture and Forestry University. He is a member of the IUCN SSC Pangolin Specialist Group. His primary research interest is Chinese pangolin ecology and conservation, while his broader research spans diverse wildlife, including wild cats, mugger crocodiles, and vultures. He has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications emerging from field-based wildlife research.

Bishal is passionate about generating field-based knowledge and translating it into meaningful conservation action, while strengthening local participation in wildlife conservation.
