Wildlife Conservation and Research Endeavour, Nepal (WILD CARE) is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to nature and biodiversity conservation in Nepal. It was founded through a collaborative effort among individuals who were previously working independently on various species research and conservation. Through research, conservation initiatives and collaborative efforts, we aim to effectively address the pressing need for biodiversity conservation.

Our mission is to safeguard Nepal's rich biodiversity with a harmony between wildlife and humans.

We operate at the dynamic intersection of research, conservation, education, empowerment, and collaboration. This multi-faceted approach forms the foundation of our strategy to achieve our goals.

Our Approach

Species Research and Conservation

We're dedicated to evidence-based conservation, prioritizing thorough research to inform and guide our conservation initiatives. Our research focuses on threatened species encompassing mammals, birds and herpetofauna across terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems.

Education and Empowerment

We empower the younger generations by offering research grants, training programs, internship and volunteering opportunities cultivating their engagement and development in the field of species research and conservation.

We support community well-being and livelihoods by integrating sustainable conservation practices to ensure a harmonious co-existence between local and natural communities.
