Bikash Pathak

Bikash Pathak Chhetri is a conservationist with extensive experience in wildlife conservation, anti-poaching, and community-based conservation in Nepal. He has played a key role in conservation efforts in Chitwan National Park and its buffer zone, particularly as Coordinator of the Community-Based Anti-Poaching Unit (CBAPU), mobilising local communities to protect endangered species such as rhinos and Bengal tigers. He is a recipient of theMatthew Preece & Yeshi Choden Lama Young Conservation Leader Award (2013) from WWF Nepal. His work focuses on biodiversity conservation, community engagement, and strengthening local stewardship of forests and wildlife.
