Wild Care Nepal successfully completed a three-day Educator’s Skills Training Workshop on Human-Elephant Coexistence (HECx) themed “Getting Along with Elephants” in Kolhabi, Bara. The training brought together 28 participants from Bara, Parsa, Chitwan and Dhanusha districts, focusing on Asian elephant ecology, history, behaviour and conservation challenges. The sessions aimed to strengthen awareness and promote peaceful coexistence between humans and elephants in central Nepal. The workshop included interactive lectures, group discussions, drawing, drama, experience sharing, outdoor activities, school and community outreach sessions. These diverse approaches helped participants build practical knowledge and teaching skills for spreading conservation awareness in their communities. The workshop concluded with strong engagement, learning and networking among participants, community involvement to promote Human-Elephant Coexistence in their respective areas.
